Sujet: NSF (N-ethylmaleimide sensitive fusion protein) is a critical component of the SNARE (soluble NSF attachment protein receptors) protein complex that is involved in synaptic vesicle trafficking. Specifically, NSF has been found to be essential in membrane fusion.
